The proposed Athabasca Capacity Expansion Project is regulated by the Alberta Energy Resources Conservation Board ("ERCB"). On May 12, 2011, Enbridge Athabasca received full ERCB approval for the Project.

Other federal, provincial and municipal permits are also required for this project. Pending receipt of all necessary approvals, construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2012.
