Timeline
Enbridge Athabasca received ERCB approval for the Project on May 13, 2011. With all required federal, provincial and municipal permits in place, Enbridge Athabasca was able to begin civil construction in October 2011 at the Elk Point and Vermilion Pump Stations and schedule the required clearing activities at the Janvier and Bonnyville Pump Station locations to begin in mid-November 2011. Civil construction activities for the remainder of the Project will begin in March 2012. An overview of upcoming construction activities currently scheduled is as follows:
