Lenox Township Fire Department, located approximately eight miles from Enbridge’s Line 6B in Macomb County, received their first ever Safe Community grant in 2011 from Enbridge’s Safe Community Program.  

The Safe Community Program provides small grants to first-responder organizations located across the U.S. and Canada in communities that host Enbridge operations, to help purchase equipment or provide training to assist in responding to emergency situations. 

The $1,000 grant provided to Lenox Township Fire Department will go towards purchasing a new fire hose nozzle.
